Terms of Access and Use

By opening the GLBS Reciprocity and Gun Laws Quick Reference Guide, 2016 Ed., I/We acknowledge we have read, understand, and agree to the following Terms of Access and Use:

The GLBS Guide was considered, created, researched, and written to provide its readers (herein “You(r)” or “Reader(s)” or “User(s)”) with an accurate and authoritative general educational resource tool to explore reciprocal carry of a concealed (or unconcealed, as allowed by law) handgun in a different state by use of Your resident or non-resident license reciprocal legal authority granted by the reciprocal state.

However, the GLBS Guide was not researched and/or written by attorneys admitted in any particular jurisdiction as a specific legal guide to rely upon. In addition, all laws (cases, statutes, rules and regulations, ordinances) are always subject to reasonable, but different, legal interpretation as to meaning and application in a given case under certain facts in a particular moment in time.

As such, the GLBS Guide is not intended to supplant, nor limit, your need for independent verification of any and all material contained herein and consultation with competent counsel of choice regarding any specific issues. It is only through legal counsel admitted in any given jurisdiction that the facts can be developed, and then considered, under the controlling laws, rules and regulations to answer specific queries.

This type of specific legal analysis is necessarily beyond the general educational objective of the GLBS Guide and for which a bar-admitted attorney in the particular state(s) is needed. Bryan L. Ciyou, Esq., Ciyou & Dixon, P.C. is/are not engaged in rendering legal services hereby, nor is the firm soliciting any client.
